N2 - Here, we provide the complete genome sequence of the subsurface bacterial isolate Dyadobacter sp. strain NIV53, a candidate species from the Spirosomaceae family. The isolate contained one 7,587,604-bp chromosome, with a GC content of 40.4%, and one plasmid, pNIV1, with a size of 12,453 bp.
