Mette completed her PhD in Bioinformatics in 2016. Se continued her work as a PostDoc in Brunak Group, Translational Disease Systems Biology, Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research. She works on a broad spectrum of projects using temporal order of diseases in the Danish health care system i order to stratify patients into risk groups and predict patient out come. She is working on several patients group including, sepsis patients, diabetes patients and sleep apnea patients. She is also looking into heritability of diseases in Denmark.
For the last two years Mette has worked on the international the project 'Real world Outcomes across the Alzheimer’s Disease spectrum for better care: Multi-modal data Access Platform' (ROADMAP).
