Lundbeck Foundation Postdoc grant to Valentyn Oksenych from the Daniel group

Valentyn Oksenych from the Daniel group receives Postdoc grant of DKK 1.4 M from the Lundbeck Foundation for his project:

‘Elucidating mechanisms for XRCC4-like factor function during DNA double-strand break repair’.

Valentyn plans to combine proteomics, cell biology, and mouse genetics to elucidate new aspects of the non-homologous end-joining DNA repair pathway.

With this project, Valentyn expects to gain a deeper understanding for how we keep our genomes stable, and provide insight into the immuno- and neurological deficiencies caused by human XLF mutations.
