Professor Jiri Lukas elected member of The Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters

The Academy works to strengthen the position of science in Denmark and to promote interdisciplinary understanding. It acts as a cooperative body and meeting place for prominent researchers from all areas of basic scientific research from across the country.

The Academy cooperates with similar academies worldwide, with international organizations and with the Danish authorities. The scientific publications and seeks among other things through commonly understood public lectures to spread the understanding of the nature and importance of scientific research.
