CPR scientists contribute features of ancient human

In the ancient genome project the Department of Disease Systems Biology at CPR together with Center for Biological Sequence Analysis at the Technical University of Denmark, contributed to the disease biology analysis using the protein SNPs and calling of phenotypic traits, hair colour, blood type, earwax type and many other features. Thanks to the new Altix ICE computer at CPR the scientists could perform the integrative analysis of the data within a short time frame needed in order to meet the timelines in the saqqaq genome project.
