Transgenic Core Facility
Blegdamsvej 3B, 2200 København N
I am the manager of the Transgenic Core Facility of the University of Copenhagen. Since I did my PhD, consisting on the characterization of two genetically modified mouse models for the kinase Cdk4, I am passionate about modifyig the mouse genome in order to provide researchers with experimental models. Besides the design and generation of novel mouse and cell models, at the facility we also support research by rederiving and archiving mouse lines (our cryobank holds more than 750 strains at the moment), and performing assisted reproduction techniques, embryo culture and manipulation as well as mouse embryonic stem cell derivation, culture and modification.
