Research Departments
The NNF Center for Protein Research is built up of a number of Research Departments.
The Facility for Protein Science and Technology are working on high throughput approaches and processes in Biotechnology and Chemical Biology.
Professor Matthias Mann heads the Research Department of Proteomics, and Professor Søren Brunak leads efforts in Disease Systems Biology.
Four research departments focused on Disease Biology have been established. Professor Niels Mailand is Group Leader in the Ubiquitin Signaling Group and Molecular Endocrinology is lead by Group Leader Professor Amilcar Flores-Morales. Associate Professor Jakob Nilsson is Group Leader in Mitotic Mechanisms and Regulation and Dr. Jeremy Daniel will head the Chromatin Structure and Function research group starting 1 January 2012.
