Professor & Group leader Niels Mailand awarded large ERC Consolidator Grant

Niels Mailand has been awarded  ERC Consolidator grant of €2 million (15 million DKK) for a 5-year period

Niels Mailand from Ubiquitin Signaling Group at Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research is one of 312 mid-career top researchers who share a total of ERC Consolidator grants worth €575 million.

 ‘This grant is of tremendous importance for the Ubiquitin Signaling Group. Not only does it acknowledge the achievements of my team so far, but it will also allow us to embark on a long-term effort to develop and implement new, innovative strategies and ideas that will pave the way for an advanced level of mechanistic insight into regulatory signaling processes in the DNA damage response and beyond’, says Prof. Niels Mailand
